The God Thing

The ‘God Thing’ has always been hard to understand. They say you need to believe it first, you can’t go by the logics. I do not know how much of it is true but I surely believe that it is hard to understand god and the logics behind everything he (I use masculine gender for god because of the influence of hindu mythology) does. In India it is quite evident by the cut offs of the college admission that a student who want to pursue science must has got very good marks at the school while getting the admission in the other streams of study like commerce or arts is comparatively relaxed. Why is it so?
You see, all the laws of physics or the way two chemicals will react with each other is predetermined. The structure of human body, the illness of a human body was well defined by the creator. We do not make any rule in physics. They were there from the inception of the earth. Or they were true at the time of inception of the universe. We merely study them. Everything existed and will always exist; it’s just that we were ignorant enough not to notice them or to discover them.
With a little knowledge I came to know that it is only hindu mythology that believes in the rebirth. The Greeks do not believe in it. In our country it is like “My belief” and “Your Belief” otherwise when british came to India they began teaching “The Truth”. Well, believing your own truths or the truths your society or the clan you belong believe is quite cosy. You have your own way to live the life. Your belief are those which either you or your society deduced you to fit in. Know when you are dealing with the “God thing” either nothing is absolute OR the god is the only absolute. So it is very difficult to make the people believe on a common truth “The ultimate truth”. I am writing this for those people whose faith in god has started to deteriorate. Your understand when goes one step further you find yourself close to the god and on the next moment you find something very baffling which again turns your belief from the god. Hindu philosophy allows you to question god and the ethics of the religion but if you are thinking that you will turn towards the god when you understand his working properly then my dear you will be starting very old. Try to believe god without stopping the questions raised into your mind. This will make your journey fruitful. It is like traveling in an unknown city and moving taking turns on your intuitions and then when you once reach the destination you have a winsome smile over your face saying “You see, I was correct!”  This is similar finding the truth about the god once believing into him. You will end saying “I was correct all the time and you my lord were very kind on me”.
